Radiographs - nsf. R carpus lightly scabbed. L carpus has a very small wound (0.5 cm) but it is a bit deeper. Overall it looks fresh but the edges are slightly dark. Transferred upstairs for quick debridement and closure. Carefully trimmed the darker edge until I got nice healthy bleeding tissue. Placed 3 small sutures to oppose edges w/ 4-0 PDS. Closed perpendicular to wing to reduce tension. Silver gel, Telfa, Tegaderm over the wound. Bandage change/ check sutures when down to repeat Excede. I will check next week. Dr Gardner

No fractures palpated and soft wounds on tips of both MC. Left is deep and has tendon exposure. Scrubbed, edges of wound look like they need to be debrided. Flushed well, covered with SSD, duaderm, tefla, and tegaderm. Feathers are slightly sooty, may not need a bath. Banded, and put in R12C.
