Exercise: Both flew 10x cage lengths. Vulture admitted on 3/25 was able to fly from
high perch to high perch for the first 3-4 passes. Vulture admitted on 3/14 was able
to glide half way and ran rest of the cage length.

The finders heard it hit their car last night - parked in their driveway. Found the bird this morning next to the car with a broken plastic piece above one of the windows. THe bird was not standing and easily captured.


------------- PHYSICAL EXAM FINDINGS ----------------

Vent: flaccid

Legs
Left leg: not standing but kicking during exam
Right leg: not standing but kicking during exam

Did not palpate any fractures. No bruising found. A little quiet during exam but otherwise okay. Vent slightly flaccid and the bird evacuated when held upright. Very foul-smelling and a little chunky.

Anesthetized with iso via mask. Radiograph WNL. Blood lead level normal for species.

Gave 60 cc LRS SQ and 0.25 cc meloxicam IM. Slow recovery from anesthesia.
Placed in a kennel in KR2.

Will monitor ability to stand/use legs.
