Anesthetized with iso via mask. Hard to knock down. Needed 4%. Rad shows gunshot pellet on midline and junction of clavicles. There are many small fragments to the right of this. Alignment is not great and rad is hard to read but the whole shoulder joint/areas is very abnormal. At least a coracoid and clavicle fracture (oddly it was normal on palpation). The right shoulder is also dropped a good bit.
Small veins - had to use both legs to get blood - CBC pending

Setup in kennel
Food in cage: 99 g cut-open rat
Started eating and drinking right away

I quickly pulled part of the scab out the wound. It is a little raw but superficial. Dressed with SSD + telfa + tega.

LRS 120 ml SQ + Vit B
Fe dextran 0.16 ml IM
CaEDTA 0.28 ml IM

Plan: will clean up the wound in a few days and explore it further. There is another wound nearby that probably has the pellet in it. We should be able to remove it.
Prognosis is poor, however, as the shoulder does not look very good.
