One hook was embedded on the lateral side of the TBT. This bird is well muscled so the hook was deeply embedded, but once removed this wound appeared minor. Scrubbed and applied ssd, telfa, and tega. Placed vet wrap to keep in place. The hook in the wing took me awhile to remove. The humerus is exposed and the wounds look a few days old to me. Debrided a large amount of both cheesy and scabby debris, there was a small amount of bleeding. The tissue over the proximal ulna/radius appeared healthy once debrided. Flushed gently, scrubbed and applied duoderm, ssd, telfa, and tega. Placed figure 8 wrap. Didnt palpate any fractures, decided to postpone rad until Sunday during wound care. 0.06 meloxicam IM, 0.36 clinda SQ, 1/2 enro PO, 30 cc LRS SQ Placed in kennel with 31 g dark m
