Decided to grab for fluids and repeat bloodwork because the bird is not doing well.  Quiet in enclosure.

Very thin.  Weight has dropped.  Elbows are no longer swollen but they have extremely poor ROM.  Locked at around 90 degrees.  Prognosis very poor.  Elected euthanasia.
Anesthetized with iso via mask.  Euthanized with 1.0 cc pentobarb IV.

Very clumped and overstained blue so hard to read. Many hets. Almost looked like a cytology slide. Massive RBC response.

Anesthetized with iso via mask for blood and rads.
Both elbows feel thick and boney - not swollen. ROM is decreased. Maybe some swelling at knees?
VD view WNL except for some soft-tissue swelling around left elbow.
Concerned about mycoplasma as we have seen it in arthritis in this species.

Exam:

TUVU did not fight us but to try to bite often.  No open wounds.  Left ulna felt strang proximal to shoulder; did not like extending wing but could.  Keel 1.5.  No concerns but emications.  Postpone radiograph until a little more stablized. Placed in incubator.
