Found four days ago in a backyard, transported to Riverbanks Zoo, taken to CRC today. Had been eating mice.

BAR. Skinny. Didnt palpate any fractures, anesthesized with iso via mask at 2.5% for rad- WNL. Incredibly enough this bird was admitted four days ago with a PCV of 13%. Blood was re-taken today at RBZ and had increased to 22%. Because of this, will include iron dex in treatment plan.

The eyes are odd to me. I've never seen this pattern obscuring the retina before. Bird seems very visual.

35 LRS + vit b SQ, 0.13 cc iron dex IM, 0.12 cc Meloxicam IM, 0.72 cc terbinafine PO, 0.36 cc fenben PO, placed in kennel with 50 g FL.

A grainy layer obscures parts of retina centrally. Healthy patterned retina seen
Left eye:
Similair to OD but the 'grainy layer' obscures most of the retina. I would not describe as glittery but close-I see healthy patterned retina laterally
