21707 flew 8, a little hesitantly, then caught right talon #4 on mesh on lower perch.
 Held body up and released talon. Went to ground with right foot on cement block
and talon looked to be sideways on block. Finished other bird last length and checked
this one again.  Now on ground and all appeared normal on right foot.

Keel score: 3.0
Breathing normally until grabbed then OMB with some URT noise.
Attempted to scope via left paralumbar fossa but femur does not pull back enough to provide a gap behind the ribs.

Did not weigh but keel score was ok. However the more caudal end of the keel had a distinct boney knob or lump and the muscle was a bit assymetric.  Probably present on intake but his intake exam was very short due to his poor condition.

Scoped trachea - WNL. Recovery was quick.

Trachea clear and mucosa healthy. Just barely got a view of syrinx
and it appeared clear.  The scope wasn't quite long enough to
get a good view.  Lots of foamy mucus in trachea near glottis
but otherwise normal.
